Dr Faunce BA/LLB (hons) BMed PhD is a senior lecturer in both the College of Law and Medical School at the Australian National University. He is a founding Board Member of the Australian National Centre for Biosecurity. He is director of two large Australian Research Council grants: investigating safety and cost-effectiveness of nanotechnology in medicine and the impact of international trade agreements of Australian medicines policy. He is a expert consultant working with UNESCO on its global database of health law. He has a research interest in nanotechnology regulation as applied to medicine and to biosecurity
