Dr. Pearson is the Director of the Biological and Chemical Weapons Control Program at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation.  Previously, he was a a Global Security Science and Technology Fellow for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Nuclear Threat Initiative at the Department of Homeland Security, where he worked for the Biological and Chemical Countermeasures Portfolio in the Science and Technology Directorate.  Dr. Pearson received his Ph.D. in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard University School and Medicine and the Massachusetts General Hospital.
