Associateship Programs at Chemical and Biological Defense CBD 2008

Focus

The Joint Science and Technology Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JSTO-CBD) of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and the National Research Council (NRC) are pleased to announce a special focus area for research related to the Department of Defense's (DoD) Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP).

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to augment the recruitment and advancement of talented, new scientists and engineers to perform CBD-related research in DoD Laboratories/Centers and support the labs in their efforts to develop and exploit new technologies to defend the warfighter.

Funding

JSTO will provide funds directly to sponsoring DoD Laboratories/Centers to support selected NRC Research Associates as Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) Postdoctoral Fellows.
